Bereavement

Doula Services

I am so very sorry that you are navigating this journey and have found yourself on this page.

As a bereavement doula certified through StillBirthday, I provide compassionate, personalized support to families navigating the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or a terminal diagnosis. A bereavement doula is trained to offer emotional, physical, and informational support during this profoundly difficult time, ensuring that your grief is honored, your choices are respected, and your needs are met. I can help you say hello to your little one, and help you say goodbye.

Everything from my birth doula package can be included in bereavement care, with adjustments to reflect your specific situation. This might involve helping you make decisions about your care, your baby's care, creating meaningful memories, taking photos of your little one, and offering support during delivery or hospital visits, and into postpartum. Together, we will create a space where you will be held and supported.

Cost of Bereavement Doula Services

Bereavement Doula services are by donation.

To the right are the true costs of my services, which reflect the value and time of the care I provide on a sliding scale. Some families have chosen to give the gift of doula support to a loved one, and I’m happy to facilitate this. No one will be turned away from bereavement care for lack of funds - If I have availability, I will attend.

  • This price is higher than the cost. This represents a ‘pay it forward’ price. If you opt for this bracket, you are supporting the accessibility to people who fall lower on the sliding scale, and my ability to support bereavement clients by donation.

  • This price is the actual cost. If you choose below this tier, you are receiving a discount. If you opt for this bracket, you are allowing me to support myself and cover my true costs. This bracket is for those are able to meet their basic needs.

  • This price is for those who are meeting their basic needs, but have little to no expendable income. Paying for the service may be a sacrifice, but it would not create hardship.

  • The bottom price is for those who cannot consistently meet their basic needs. If you opt for this price bracket, you are allowing your community to support you in accessing doula care.
