Abortion Doula Services

As your abortion doula, my goal is to provide personalized, compassionate support tailored to your unique needs. We’ll start with a consultation—either in person or virtually—so we can connect, discuss your care needs and desires, and decide if we’re a good fit. My services often include a pre abortion visit, where we can explore themes like what to expect during your abortion, emotional processing, and comfort measures. If desired, we can also discuss how to involve your partner or loved ones in a way that feels supportive to you.

On the day of your abortion, whether medication or surgical, I’m available to provide support. This could include answering questions, offering emotional reassurance, joining you at home for a medication abortion, or meeting you at the clinic for a surgical abortion. My role is to be present for you—providing emotional, physical, and practical support before, during, and immediately after your abortion.

Afterward, we’ll schedule a follow up visit to reflect on your experience, process any emotions that arise, and explore things such as grief and comfort measures.

Cost of Abortion Doula Services

Everyone deserves an Abortion Doula, and I am proud to offer all of my services on a sliding scale. My sliding scale is based on Alexis J Cunningfolk’s approach, which you can read about in this blog. Being honest with yourself about where you fall on a sliding scale helps all of us support each other, and build strong sustainable communities. My services can be billed hourly, or we can follow a package structure based on what was described above.

  • This price is higher than the cost. This represents a ‘pay it forward’ price. If you opt for this bracket, you are supporting the accessibility to people who fall lower on the sliding scale, and my ability to support bereavement clients by donation.

  • This price is the actual cost. If you choose below this tier, you are receiving a discount. If you opt for this bracket, you are allowing me to support myself and cover my true costs. This bracket is for those are who are able to meet their basic needs.

  • This price is for those who are meeting their basic needs, but have little to no expendable income. Paying for the service may be a sacrifice, but it would not create hardship.

  • The bottom price is for those who cannot consistently meet their basic needs. If you opt for this price bracket, you are allowing your community to support you in accessing doula care.

  • Please reach out anyway, and lets see if we can work together to get you the care you need.
